Alicia McNamara lives on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. She is married and has two precious boys (12 Years old and 8 Years old). Alicia is a Primary Teacher turned Homeschooling Mum and passionate crafter. She crafts at night while the rest of her family sleeps!
Alicia began card making approximately fifteen years ago and started scrapbooking around ten years ago. Her work has been featured in the Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft Magazine, Kaisercraft Workshop Magazines, and Creative Papercraft Magazine. She has also been an ambassador for several popular scrapbooking companies.
Alicia currently designs her own scrapbooking and card making kits and printables. She delights in crafting on a budget, finding quick and efficient methods, and is passionate about sharing her love for crafting with others.

Anet has been a cardmaker for 14 years and started her Youtube channel in 2018. Her cardmaking journey started when she saw a cardmaking magazine and wanted to make a card for her husband’s birthday. She loves combining her passion for colouring with Alcohol Markers with making cards. She likes to try out new techniques.
Over the years Anet has been on many design teams. Her cards have also been published in Love Cardmaking, Cardmaking in Easy Steps, Australian Simply Cards and Australian Papercraft Essentials. Her cards are also featured on the Hochanda TV Show. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks with her husband and their two furry children, reading, calligraphy and spending time with her loved ones.

Bethany Scott is a crafty entrepreneur who brings a mixed media feel to her projects. She lives in Wisconsin and is married with three littles (ages 5, 4, and 3). She co-owns 2 businesses with her hubby and brings her graphic design skills to each. Bethany studied photography and theatre in college and the first advertisement she directed appeared on national TV when she was 19 years old. Her photographs (both modeling and behind the camera) have been displayed in NYC galleries and on billboards. She loves creating video content for her social media channels focusing mainly on paper-crafting, Cricut crafts, all things sublimation, and faux leather creations.
Bethany also shares ownership of a successful boutique, BB’s Boutique & Things, with her mom which focuses on custom gift designs. She is also the CFO for several companies and sells Mary Kay anytime she can sprinkle it into her life. Donna has been paper crafting for over 30 years. She began with scrapbooking and then a friend introduced her to card making. She was very active in making cards, but then kids came along. At this point, Donna took about an 18 year break from card making.
In February, 2023, Donna decided to look into all the new things available in card making. And boy, things had really changed. In her first month back in card making, she attended her first Card Makers Success Summit. That summit gave her a great idea of what had changed and some awesome inspiration. She has been very active in card making since that time. She is on the design team for Brutus Monroe and is an Altenew Certified Educator.

When she was a young girl, Einat used to sit on the carpet at her grandparents’ house with a huge scrapbook on her knees looking through it with amazement. These albums, created from scratch by her grandfather took her imagination to faraway places and sparked her creativity years later. When her first son was born her grandfather suggested she would create a scrapbook to document his life. Einat was bitten by the scrapbooking bug and the rest is history.
Today, Einat is a versatile designer, who dabbles in various crafts from scrapbooking, art journaling and altered art to mixed media and 3D paper crafts. She teaches online classes, writes eBooks, and has 3 different memberships. She shares her projects and designs on her blog, FB page, and very successful YouTube channel.

Elena is a lifelong crafter having learned cross stitch, sewing and hardanger as a young child from her crafty aunts. She started her paper crafting journey in the 1990s with scrapbooking which transitioned into stamping in the early 2000s. Her blog and YouTube channel originally focused on cardmaking using stamps, inks, markers and more. But Elena, who also loves technology, decided in late 2020 to concentrate on electronic cutting machine crafts, especially (but not exclusively) cards and papercrafts. In addition to teaching crafters how to use their machines with fun project tutorials, she designs her own SVGs which she sells through her Etsy store, frequently offering discounts to e-mail and YouTube subscribers. Elena lives in Denver, CO with her best friend and husband of 25 years, Alex and their sweet, elderly dog, Django.

Jen has been on this creative journey for as long as she can remember. There has always been art in one form or another in her life. Many crafts and projects have come and gone over the years. Woodworking, throwing clay on the pottery wheel, cross-stitch, painting, scrapbooking. The list goes on! Although she loved being creative in these areas, she always lost the passion that she had for these creative outlets as time went on. Then about 8 years ago she discovered cardmaking and hasn't looked back since. As a cardmaker, the outlet for expression is endless and wide. She believes that there is so much freedom to create a card that is simple or complicated, clean or messy, interactive or one layer. So many possibilities!
When Jen started creating cards she also started creating YouTube videos. She then started joining design teams and eventually opened up her own little shop. The experiences gained through the years has helped her grow as a cardmaker and creator.

Floral Frame: a Season to Sparkle

Katarina qualified as a pharmaceutical assistant, then as a Primary school teacher in Slovakia and Hungary. She finished her studies just before moving to Northern Ireland 20 years ago. She had various jobs while learning the language, then eventually started working as an interpreter for the health service. She absolutely loved and kept that job until her first child was born in 2016, and that is where her crafting journey began. She tried a few different things but fell in love with papercrafts very quickly and never looked back. When her children became school age, Katarina started working at the local nursery and primary school, that is where she currently still is. Katarina was one of the lucky winners of Cardmaker of the Year 2023, a competition advertised by Practical Publishing, and as a result of that, she was offered a spot on their design team. It has been the most incredible journey which helped her grow in confidence to try new techniques and share them with others too! While Katarina creates cards of all different types, it is flowers that she enjoys working with the most. The magic of heat embossing has stayed with her from the day she first tried it and has built up quite an arsenal of embossing powders and glitters of all different colours and grades. For today’s card she combined the two things she loves the most and hopes to inspire the viewers to create something similar too!

Let's Make a Digital Die-Cut Card!

Sande's passion has always been teaching. She has taught students ranging from elementary school to college faculty for more than 50 years. When she retired in 2018, Sande found card making and immediately enrolled in the Altenew Educator Certification Program, which was a perfect fit for blending her teaching expertise and newfound love of making cards. She became an Altenew Educator in October 2020, and was named the Altenew Educator of the Year for 2021. In 2022, Sande encountered some medical challenges that caused her to change her focus from making physical cards to exploring the digital card making world. This unexpected transition was eye-opening for Sande, as she discovered a whole new world of creativity available to card makers!
Now, Sande is passionate about sharing what she has discovered with other card makers, helping them learn to design their own digital stamps, papers, and ephemera to either download and print or to use in personalized ecards. Sande delights in ""connecting the dots"" to make complicated concepts understandable to her students. In her new role as a digital card making educator, she loves to help others grow in confidence as card makers and expand their creative horizons to find new and fun ways to bless other people through crafting.

Tantalaya McKinney has been crafting for the last 9 years as Craft With Te on most of her social media sites. Te started crafting in 2008 and has gradually grown from ATC, recipe cards to cards and scrapbook layouts. She loves making cards and mixed media projects. On Te's YouTube channel you will find a series of sketch videos, coloring videos, and a technique video series and also a few organization videos. Te has been a member of the My Little Scrapbook Store design team for the past 4 years. She has recently become a cat mama again to 3 cats. Yes, that is 3 cats….they are her kids! Te also works full time at a Furniture store in Ft Bragg NC. This is Te's fourth time joining the carmaker summit and she is looking forward to crafting with you all.

Wendy's creative journey began with her mother, crafting clothes for her dolls from fabric scraps. By age 9, she was making intricate appliqués for competitive roller skating dresses, and soon, she was designing and embellishing the dresses. After nearly 40 years in the grocery industry, Wendy made the decision to retire following the pandemic. She turned her focus to YouTube, launching Village Card and Crafts. Her passion for teaching and creativity blossomed as she began helping others unlock their artistic potential. Now, Wendy combines her degree in Education with her love of crafting to inspire and guide fellow creators.
