Alicia began card making approximately fifteen years ago and started scrapbooking around ten years ago. Her work has been featured in the Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft Magazine, Kaisercraft Workshop Magazines, and Creative Papercraft Magazine. She has also been an ambassador for several popular scrapbooking companies.

Bethany Scott is a crafty entrepreneur who brings a mixed media feel to her projects. She lives in Wisconsin and is married with three littles (ages 5, 4, and 3). She co-owns 2 businesses with her hubby and brings her graphic design skills to each. Bethany studied photography and theatre in college and the first advertisement she directed appeared on national TV when she was 19 years old. Her photographs (both modeling and behind the camera) have been displayed in NYC galleries and on billboards. She loves creating video content for her social media channels focusing mainly on paper-crafting, Cricut crafts, all things sublimation, and faux leather creations.

Donna has been paper crafting for over 30 years. She began with scrapbooking and then a friend introduced her to card making. She was very active in making cards, but then kids came along. At this point, Donna took about an 18 year break from card making.
In February, 2023, Donna decided to look into all the new things available in card making. And boy, things had really changed. In her first month back in card making, she attended her first Card Makers Success Summit. That summit gave her a great idea of what had changed and some awesome inspiration. Katarina qualified as a pharmaceutical assistant, then as a Primary school teacher in Slovakia and Hungary. She finished her studies just before moving to Northern Ireland 20 years ago. She had various jobs while learning the language, then eventually started working as an interpreter for the health service. She absolutely loved and kept that job until her first child was born in 2016, and that is where her crafting journey began. She tried a few different things but fell in love with papercrafts very quickly and never looked back. When her children became school age, Katarina started working at the local nursery and primary school, that is where she currently still is. Katarina was one of the lucky winners of Cardmaker of the Year 2023, a competition advertised by Practical Publishing, and as a result of that, she was offered a spot on their design team. It has been the most incredible journey which helped her grow in confidence to try new techniques and share them with others too! While Katarina creates cards of all different types, it is flowers that she enjoys working with the most. The magic of heat embossing has stayed with her from the day she first tried it and has built up quite an arsenal of embossing powders and glitters of all different colours and grades. For today’s card she combined the two things she loves the most and hopes to inspire the viewers to create something similar too!

Sande's passion has always been teaching. She has taught students ranging from elementary school to college faculty for more than 50 years. When she retired in 2018, Sande found card making and immediately enrolled in the Altenew Educator Certification Program, which was a perfect fit for blending her teaching expertise and newfound love of making cards. She became an Altenew Educator in October 2020, and was named the Altenew Educator of the Year for 2021. In 2022, Sande encountered some medical challenges that caused her to change her focus from making physical cards to exploring the digital card making world. This unexpected transition was eye-opening for Sande, as she discovered a whole new world of creativity available to card makers!

By age 9, she was making intricate appliqués for competitive roller skating dresses, and soon, she was designing and embellishing the dresses. After nearly 40 years in the grocery industry, Wendy made the decision to retire following the pandemic. She turned her focus to YouTube, launching Village Card and Crafts. Her passion for teaching and creativity blossomed as she began helping others unlock their artistic potential. Now, Wendy combines her degree in Education with her love of crafting to inspire and guide fellow creators.
