Lucy Foxworth
Holiday House Pop Up Card~~ Teaching pop-up techniques and layering paper for dimension

I consider myself a paper architect. I love to figure out ways to use paper to construct 3-D craft projects. Sometimes it's a small paper house pop-up card, sometimes it's just a tiny house made out of paper. My "real" job was as a Pediatric ER doc which I did for 23 years. There's not much direct overlap in making paper projects and tending to kids in the ER unless you consider that you have to be creative in both spheres. You don't treat each child the same, you have to be creative in your approach to each individual child to make the experience as positive as possible. I did that for kids and now I do that each time I create a craft to share. I do hope you will enjoy my little house pop-up card here.

Juliana Michaels
Merry Mixed Media Christmas Card

I grew up in a creative household loving art, design, and making things with my hands. I give all the credit for my creativity to my multi-talented Mom who loved to paint, sew and draw. Over 20 years ago I was introduced to scrapbooking by a dear friend. At the time, I had no idea that paper crafting would become one of my true passions or that I would become a project designer in the paper craft/scrapbook industry. Since 2007 I've been fortunate to work for many top scrapbooking and card making manufacturers and designers. Over the years, my style has evolved and my interests in different types of paper crafting have changed. What initially began as a love of scrapbooking, transitioned into card making and other types of paper crafting. Then, several years ago, I fell in love with mixed media and a slightly grungy, vintage style that really feels like home to me. I truly love making, playing with new products, trying new techniques and sharing my love of making with others!

Nick Lupu-Karayanis

Warm Wishes Slimline Card ~~Learn how to make a cute layered slimline card full of warm wishes using a Cricut cutting machine.

Nick has been a crafter for as long as he can remember. In 2019, he purchased his first Cricut cutting machine hoping it would allow him some “me time” away from the chaos that is married life with foster kids. As Nick learned his way around his new Cricut and the design software, he really fell in love with paper crafting and card making. He started his blog, The Bearded Housewife, in early 2020 to chronicle his life as a stay at home parent through a pandemic but quickly found what everyone gravitated to were his projects and especially his cards. Since then, he has helped thousands of people learn how to use their cutting machines to make a wide variety of cards from the very simple to more elaborate. He has been a speaker in several crafting summits featuring, and hosted by, some of the biggest names in the Cricut crafting world. His teaching style is very relaxed and easy to follow, well-paced without feeling rushed or sluggish. Nick’s primary goal is to help you craft your house into a home through creating and gifting handmade cards and creations.

Incredible Iris Folding Cards

Hi, I'm Sarah and I'm a card maker and Cricut crafter from the UK. I've been making handmade cards for over 15 years and love nothing better than playing about with a big pile of craft supplies! A few years ago I was given a Cricut for a Christmas present and I've never looked back! Now I work full time as a craft blogger and SVG designer, specialising in layered cardstock designs. For my presentation I'm combining two of my favourite craft techniques: Cricut papercuts and iris folding. But don't worry if you don't have a Cricut - these cards can be made without a cutting machine too.

Maker Forte - Alexandra Stapleton-Smith
Pretty Poinsettias with Pencil Coloring

Alexandra , founder and CEO of Maker Forte, didn’t plan to turn her passion for crafting into a successful creative empire. The crafting mogul began her journey in 2016 when she and her husband moved to the U.S. While her husband had a work visa, Alexandra only had a visa to reside in the country. Unsure of how her life in the U.S. would unfold, she knew that she at least had to find a way to keep her mind active. As a result, she launched an award winning crafting blog. “Within a year we had 10,000 followers,” she recalls. “People were taking notice, and at that point, we decided to turn it into a business.” She subsequently began an award winning subscription box program, and the hobby-turned-business officially began to take flight. Just as the COVID pandemic gripped the nation, Alexandra saw an opportunity to expand even more launching her newest company, Maker Forte. Maker Forte, a Maker supplies company, is breaking the mold on what is considered crafty! Alexandra believes that every day should be a creative party so you can make as you live. She brings to the market uniquely formulated products and she innovates to fuel your imagination. Alexandra believes that collaboration is more important than competition. We are all better when we work together. Her goal is to empower one another so one day everyone can say “I’m a Maker too!” Come join the party and create with Maker Forte!

Justin Adkins
Create that Holiday Wow-Factor with Foiling & Toner Sheets ~~ I will be using Toner Sheets & Foil to create approachable Holiday Cards that are a lot more easy to create than they seem!

I went to college at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and studied advertising. While there, I was a Resident Advisor for 3 years at one of the University Housing Residence Halls. I think that’s where my knack for crafting really took place. I used to create decorations for my floor constantly… whether it be bulletin boards, decorations for each resident’s doors, or creating decorations for the rest of the building. I felt like I was constantly making stuff, and I really enjoyed it! Well, I graduated in 2014 and moved back to the suburbs and took a break from creating for a little bit. In July of 2016, I was browsing a local paper store that sold both pre-made cards and crafting supplies to make them, and looking for a card for my grandma’s birthday. I was looking at the rubber stamps, saw an easy example of an elephant carrying balloons, and thought “Hey, I can do that! And I can save money.” I learned 2 things from that instance:

Making cards as a hobby will never be less expensive than being able to purchase one from a big box retailer between $1-$4.

I absolutely loved this process and knew I needed to do it more.

So, for about 2 years, I made cards almost strictly with rubber stamps, ink, embossing powder and washi tape. I really didn’t think there was much of a card making world beyond that. However, in September of 2018, I started noticing more and more of these “clear stamps”, and makers were coloring them in beautifully. With some research, I found that I only scraped the cardstock surface of card making.

Hello, I am Ishani, I am an Indian Air Force veteran and now a stay-at-home mom. I started paper crafting with paper quilling, six years back and was introduced to stamping in 2017 and I have not looked back, since then. Crafting is my daily dose of meditation. I love to learn new techniques and experiment with various products.  I enjoy coloring and creating scenes. I tend to have a clean and simple style in my card with the a stamp or a die as the main focus. But I may surprise you with a totally non CAS card too. Also, I am someone who likes to use one product - in different ways. Till I squeeze out the last penny from the product I bought. That's my frugal way of crafting 😀

Simple Cricut Foiling Techniques ~~ This presentation will show how to use the Cricut foiling tools on the Cricut Maker, Explore, & Joy machines to create a card background and sentiments.

Hello & welcome! I am Miss. Carrie and I enjoy days filled with faith, family, LOTS of coffee and crafts. I believe that life is complicated enough, and crafting needs to be simple, which is why I enjoy sharing the beautifully layered projects I create using simple techniques I have learned as a paper crafter. Each week, I teach detailed step-by-step paper crafting and Cricut tutorials showing how to create scrapbook layouts, cards, home décor, and three-dimensional projects. I love to take big overwhelming concepts and give them to my viewers in bite sized pieces so that everyone can be successful. My goal is to take the mystery out of the “how did she do that” and show you how to create something beautiful. I have been married to a wonderful man for over 29 years who is a part of the Awana ministry as a local missionary. With four grown children and a little fur baby by my side, I spend most of my time teaching people, like you, through my video tutorials and classes.
